Im not sure about the 2019's but the older carbed klx's need a aftermarket head pipe. Its so small adding a slip on doesn't do much at all. My brother had a piped klx300, it was still slower than a wr250r but had much better low end power. I'd skip motor mods completely and put good tires, skid plate and hand guards on it.
